Δrtificial Life is an interactive installation that explores what remains after AI generation. Rather than focusing on intelligence or autonomy, the work attends to how AI-generated artifacts continue to exist across digital and physical systems when they are no longer novel, in use, or fully erased. Through a feedback loop between physical interaction and digital consequence, artificial life is framed not as intelligence, but as a mode of existence unfolding between data and matter, use and neglect, systems and their consequences.

Even if you escape the room, the pain follows—you are trapped in a cycle, always returning to the place that burdens you. You will repeat this process, over and over, like an endless loop. Until, at last...
AI-generated animation / 2024
This is an experimental animation entirely created by AI, featuring a hamster and a Taiwanese cabbage white butterfly as the main characters. The story begins with a human purchasing the hamster and bringing it home. Guided by the owner's tattooed butterfly, the hamster embarks on a journey through time and space. However, it ultimately discovers that this adventure is merely an illusion, and it remains trapped in its cage. The film uses the hamster as a metaphor for modern individuals constrained by societal structures, unable to achieve true freedom.

"Peep" is a work originates from an observation of how the internet era fuels voyeuristic desires. With the addition of internet platforms, reality shows and similar programs have become more prevalent, satisfying people's voyeuristic desires while pushing everyone into a frenzy of criticism. This piece has three parallel narrative threads that converge into a single ending after all are experienced. Through this work, we aim to highlight how the internet's promotion of voyeurism will ultimately backfire on ourselves.

Inspired by shadow puppetry, this performance features a backdrop drawn from traditional Taiwanese Indigenous culture. Using projections, these cultural elements are seamlessly woven into the narrative, depicting a powerful story of how people face and conquer their fears.

"Sentiment Sorcerer: The EmoMagic Trial" is a 10-minute interactive virtual reality experience that puts players in the role of a candidate undergoing a trial. Throughout the experience, participants will learn about the power of emotions and words through examiner-led spell instruction, immersive storytelling, and practical spellcasting. The words you speak will serve as incantations to wield magic, making the experience emotionally charged and engaging. We aspire for the audience to find enjoyment in experiencing this work and to gain an understanding of the potent power of words and emotions.
AI-generated animation / 2023
This work combines self-shot footage of the moon with AI-generated visuals and audio elements to create a ripple effect. Originating from everyday surroundings, the audio leads viewers through the transition from one place to another—moving from a familiar location to the mountains, then to the seaside, ascending to the sky, and finally descending into the deep sea, which conveys spatial transformations through auditory perception. The AI-generated visuals correspond to the sound, appearing and rippling away with the water waves, creating an intertwined reality and illusion while conveying a tranquil ambiance.

"亼DD1ㄈㄒ" is derived from the English word "Addict" and is presented as if mimicking the garbled code returned after a program error, implying a flawed way of using the internet. This work explores internet addiction, using a miniature figure to symbolize addicts glued to a screen. In a dimly lit room, it is depicted staring at an LED panel, reflecting the grip of addiction. As viewers approach, the figure raises its head, conveying a sense of hope for redemption. However, when viewers leave or stop, it returns to the head-down position, illustrating the persistent struggle with addiction. Through this interaction, we aim to raise awareness about the complexities of internet addiction and the need for ongoing support.

"Blissful Life" is a prelude to a Taiwanese primetime drama, condensing all its key plotlines into a concise format. The story revolves around Chairman Zhilong Chen and incorporates common elements of Taiwanese dramas, such as car accidents, falls, slapping scenes, and family disputes. Initially conceived as a comedy, it evolved into a comprehensive script with complex character relationships, requiring some actors to play dual roles.
